Who are Mayura?
Founded by industry professionals Harvey Coates and Tulsi Talbot, Mayura are a world-class acoustic duo delivering top-tier performances fit for any occasion. Tulsi and Harvey are established musicians in their own right; between them, their music has several million views on social media and they have performed at some of the UK's best-loved venues, including Truck Festival, Cadogan Hall and The Wedgwood Rooms.

Harvey and Tulsi met at the University of Surrey, graduating in 2021 and 2022 respectively. Tulsi studied Music and was heavily involved in events management and performing, whilst Harvey studied Creative Music Technology and specialised in composition, sampling and production. During their time together at Surrey they would frequently collaborate, with Harvey playing in Tulsi's bands on a number of occasions, thus forming the bedrock of Mayura.
Harvey Coates
Harvey Coates is an Anglo-Indian electronic music producer and guitarist from Bristol with a passion for folk music and traditional folk instruments. He explores a wilder side playing electric guitar in post-punk band Shtëpi.
Harvey's electronic folk covers have earned him a couple million views on TikTok, and has made himself popular with lovers of both traditional folk and electronic dance music.
